This is『Project EIGHT』, an individual circle which Hyichi produces Japanese-style fantasy【Genso Satomi Hakkenden】. The artworks are based on the novel 『Nanso Satomi Hakkenden』 written by Bakin Takizawa during the Edo period in Japan. Eight protagonists with special signs on their bodies are led by a monk, a princess, and a dog to start the story. This project is still in its initial phase though, I hope you would be interested in the original novel as well through my works!
