What is ComicVket
ComicVket is an online comic convention covering all genres, held in VR(Virtual Reality) space. Roam around the virtual space to discover and purchase books, illustrations, comics, novels, and other products with your fellow visitors. The event can be accessed with VR devices, smartphones, or PC for free. Try the samples and open the store websites, where you can purchase or download the books you like. The venue for this round of the event is a floating island of bookshelves. The virtual space is optimized for discovering new works you like. Enjoy the scenery of colorful islands surrounded by numerous books. You will find new favorites along the way.

Concept
A new “form” of comic convention. What ComicVket achieves is to maximize both the fun of the comic convention and the joy of virtual reality. Excitement at the event and happiness of a new encounter with your favorite works. The convenience of accessing the event anywhere and anytime you want and a high degree of freedom of the venue design. By accomplishing both experiences, ComicVket delivers “a new form of comic convention”, not as an alternative and/or a temporal complement of real events. The ComicVket will continue to contribute to energizing and globalizing the doujin culture, aiming for the future where the virtual world and the real world can coexist and enrich one another.
How to participate
You can access the venue easily from ordinary PC and/or smartphones by simply clicking the link when the event opens. With a VR device, you can enjoy the vivid experience of 3D graphics. *Quest environment such as Meta Quest 2 is going to be supported. Also, we have set up a Discord server for exhibitors and visitors to interact with each other. Please join from here
What kind of exhibits are eligible?
Books, illustrations, and doujinshi can be exhibited.
- Original / fan fiction
- Comic, illustration, arts, designs, stamps, novels, commentaries, etc.
- Must not contain elements that require age restrictions
※For fan fiction (derivative works), please refer to the terms, guidelines, and claims from the group or the individual of original works who own the intellectual properties of the original work and make your own judgment under your own responsibility.
How to purchase
You can buy the products as digital book downloads or paper books through online shopping. Flip and try sample pages in each space. You can open the store website link and buy your favorite books immediately.
How to meet other visitors
ComicVket is open 24 hours during the event. You can set up a schedule with your friend and visit the venue from the same platform (PC/Quest/Vket Cloud) to have fun with them. You can also enjoy the voice chat and taking photos in the venue.
Can I meet exhibitors?
In principle, the ComicVket is “unmanned” and the exhibitors do not necessarily attend their spaces. Exhibitors may announce their visit time when the visitors can join the world and meet each other.
How can I exhibit?
We are accepting exhibitor applications starting from October 24 (Mon) through November 22 (Tue) 11:59 pm JST (2:59 pm UTC, 9:59 am EST). Even if you have no experience with VR, you can easily participate in the exhibition by simply uploading images and other data. With the new “Simple Submission” option, all you need to do will be to upload a single poster image. You can exhibit any form of book, like comics, novels, and illustrations! Please refer to the Exhibition Terms of the event and How to Exhibit for details.
Organizer
This event is organized and hosted by those who love comic conventions, with HIKKY Co., Ltd. taking the lead which hosts the world’s largest virtual event “Virtual market (Vket)”. Currently there are four strands of virtual events hosted by HIKKY with different focuses.
